Welcome to Sunset Scents Candles

Fundraising Candle SalesSunset Scents Candles is a small family owned business located in the rural area of Atoka, Oklahoma. It is owned and operated by James & Kenda Capps, two school teachers in the area. We began our business around 4 years ago after James underwent a fight against cancer. All is well with him now and our business is an outcome of his will to survive.

Candle SalesWith both of us being school teachers we understand the hassles and headaches that come with fundraising. We pride ourselves in having a business that helps organizations with a hassle-free fundraiser. Even though fundraising has been our major focus, we have since expanded into the mail order business.

Sunset Scents CandlesOur candles are all hand wicked, scented and poured with a special blended wax. Our goal was to produce the highest scented, longest burning and clean burning candle on the market today. We have achieved this by consulting professionals/chemists in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Scented candles are great.

Our mission is to have our customers 100% satisfied with their single order or fundraising orders through freshly poured candles and quick delivery.

Safety Guidelines

  1. Sunset Scents Candles are designed to burn evenly, preventing the thick layer of wax that forms around the outside to the jar like other candles. For maximum usage, allow wax to melt all the way across each time a candle is lit.
  2. Handle with care, as the container is fragile. Do not use if container is cracked, scratched or chipped.
  3. Place on protected, heat restistant, dry surface and away from anything flammable. Keep out of reach of children.
  4. Discontinue use when 1/4" of wax remains. This will prevent possible heat damage to the counter surface or the container itself.
  5. Extinguish candle before replacing lid.
  6. NEVER LEAVE UNATTENDED!
  7. To extinguish candle, dip wick into melted wax and lift up. Do this to prevent a smoking wick.
